Dampyr, The

Plot of the series: Harlan Draka is a character of Slavic origin. Raised in a small village orphaned by his mother, who died in childbirth, and practically never having seen his father, he makes ends meet wandering in the neighboring countries posing as a dampyr, a son of a vampire and a human woman, able to eliminate hypothetical cases of vam pirism in people who are already dead. His life comes at a turning point when, called by Kurjak, a rude soldier at the head of a small troop of men, in a vampire-infested war zone, he discovers that he is truly a dampyr thanks to Tesla, a rebel vampire. The blood of dampyr is poisonous to the Night Masters, a race of supervampires that secretly dominates the world; Harlan decides to devote his life to their destruction, accompanied by his faithful companions Kurjak and Tesla.
